Terms & Conditions

By completing checkout and checking the box, you (“Client”) agree to these Terms and Conditions with Dog Dog Poop (“Company,” “we,” “our”).

Effective Date: The date of payment.


1. Services

  • Professional pet waste removal services at the frequency selected during checkout.
  • Services include:
    • Scooping and removing visible pet waste from the yard.
    • Double-bagging waste and placing it in the property’s outdoor trash bin (unless haul-away is separately arranged for an additional fee).
    • Optional yard deodorizing (if selected).
    • Securing gates and latches as found.
    • Cleaning and disinfecting all boots and tools after each visit.
    • Boots are always covered with fresh disposable shoe covers.
    • For your peace of mind, a picture of the closed gate is taken before leaving your property.

Limitations:

  • Only pet waste is removed (no trash, hazardous waste, or dead animals).
  • Extreme yard conditions (tall grass, snow, ice, mud, heavy leaves) may limit results.
  • Exact arrival times cannot be guaranteed; however:
    • We follow a regular route schedule and typically arrive at the same hour or close to it.
    • A message is sent 10–15 minutes before arrival.

2. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, unobstructed access to the yard on service days.
  • Gates should be unlocked and free of obstructions.
  • Pets must be secured indoors or safely restrained (we do not work around aggressive animals).
  • Snow and hazards should be cleared from access paths.
  • Notify us of changes such as:
    • Dog count.
    • Access codes.
    • Property conditions.
  • By agreeing, you confirm you have legal authority to grant Dog Dog Poop permission to enter the yard for services.

3. Scheduling, Weather & Holidays

  • Services are scheduled as recurring or one-time visits.
  • Unsafe weather (lightning, heavy snow/ice, flooding, etc.):
    • Service will be rescheduled to the next available day (typically before or after the scheduled day).
    • No extra charge for weather reschedules.
  • Holidays:
    • Services are rescheduled to the nearest available day.
  • Service can be placed on hold when you and your pets are away (with advance notice).
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance or the visit may be charged.
  • If access is denied (locked gate, aggressive pet, unsafe condition), the visit may be charged.

4. Payment

  • Payment is due before services are rendered.
  • Late or failed payments may result in service pause until resolved.
  • Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice.

5. Liability

  • Clients waive claims against Dog Dog Poop and its employees except in cases of gross negligence.
  • Not responsible for damage caused by pet waste or pre-existing yard conditions.
  • Not liable for illness, injury, or damage related to pets, property, or environment.

6. Termination

  • Services continue until cancelled by the Client.
  • Either party may cancel with 24 hours’ notice.
  • We may deny or terminate service due to:
    • Safety issues.
    • Financial issues.
    • Inappropriate situations.

7. Refunds & Return Policy

  • Payments are non-refundable once services are completed.
  • If we miss a service due to our error:
    • You receive either a credit toward your next service or a refund for that visit.
  • If access is blocked or unsafe due to Client conditions (locked gate, aggressive pet, obstructions):
    • The visit will still be charged and no refund will be issued.
  • Prepaid services cancelled before the start date:
    • Fully refundable.
  • Prepaid services cancelled after the start date:
    • May be refunded on a pro-rated basis for unused visits.
